January 19th
My bookclub is meeting tonight and we're dicussing the book "the guernsey literary and potato peel pie society" (don't you just love the title)....well, actually what usually happens is we talk about the book for 5 minutes then we gossip and eat treats. :) Today i decided to try out a new recipe, it's a pineapple carrot cake with maple cream cheese frosting (it's out of the new epicure cookbook called back to the basics)....it smells so good, i can't wait to taste it!

Sounds like the book club I belong to also! Great photo! Looks yummy. Can you share the recipe?
it's the carrot cake recipe at the back of the new "back to basics" cookbook....it was moist and delicious! It has some of the apple pie, pumpkin pie and cinnamon spices and the frosting uses the maple spice dip
